Employee Benefits and Retention Study for PEOs

A study sponsored by MetLife shows that for the first time employee retention is a primary objective for employers offering benefits. Prior to 2006 controlling benefits costs was the major objective, now however the increasingly competitive marketplace for talented employees makes employee retention the top objective. Using a Professional Employer Organization or PEO allows small and medium sized business to offer employees a competitive benefits package that has the offerings of a fortune 500 company. Many business owners and managers are recognizing that PEOs are a cost effective way to implement a benefits package that keeps their company a good place for employees.
