Connecticut Bill 5113 for PEO and Professional Employer Organizations

Connecticut Bill 5113 provides statutory employer status for PEOs and limits liability for various items as client product and tort liability. NAPEO and local members worked to educate policymakers in Hartford on the importance of comprehensive legislation for the industry and the benefits that accrue to the state and consumers. The legislation now moves to the Senate where it is expected to be considered in the second week of May, 2008.
