Georgia Businesses Reviewing Their PEO Options.

Since 1999 StaffMarket has assisted nearly 20,000 business owners and company executives identify and compare the best PEO alternatives for their companies. Every company considering joining a PEO is unique in their needs and expectations. At the same time, every PEO has their own unique acceptance criteria and only allows companies to join their PEO if the client company meets their requirements for:

  • Preferred business type.
  • Workers' compensation insurance.
  • Company size.
  • Average wage.
  • Georgia and out of state business locations.

For businesses seeking access to group health insurance for their Georgia employees, PEOs may offer a program that helps their customers meet ACA requirements and provides cost advantages over other standard market health insurance alternatives. Once again, every PEO varies in their ability to offer access to Georgia health insurance plans for their client companies.

In Georgia, StaffMarket has helped hundreds of companies quickly identify and assess their best options for joining a PEO. Companies large and small have used StaffMarket to get industry insight and competitive proposals from Professional Employer Organizations operating in Georgia.

This company is a sales group for it's parent's company that manufactures custom metal ceiling panels. They are actually adding some manufacturing EEs but they don't know the proper W/C codes for those employees so I added them in on this RFP as 3066. This is a description of the work they perform (We manufacture metal ceilings using two machines - one bends metal into panels and one perforates metal. The employees control the machine via software and they insert metal sheets onto the machine rollers and remove the finished product from the other side of the machine. The employees also operate a fork lift, work with saws, air compressors, laser cutters, and other common warehouse tools.) You will need to work with underwriting to properly insure the correct code for these EEs. They are currently with a Professional Employer Organization that is providing them with Signa health care coverage, but that program only offers 2 plans and they would like to have more options. They contact did not want to expose their census to me so I've directed her to provide that documentation directly to you, the Professional Employer Organization rep. I do have a copy of their W/C dec attached to this RFP but I have not yet received their LRs. I have also requested the plan coverage summaries, recent invoice and renewal notice for that Signa coverage but I have not yet received those either so make sure you request those on your initial call. Here is a list of the ancillary benefits the company currently provides. • dental (65% paid by the company) • vision (65% paid by the company) • 10k life insurance policy provided by the company • Voluntary STD • Voluntary Supplemental Term Life • MetLife Accident Insurance • MetLife Critical Illness Insurance • Tele-medicine only plans • MetLife Pre-Paid Legal Plan • MetLife Pet Insurance • MetLife Home and Auto Insurance and 401k Please initial contact by email and request time to schedule your initial phone conversation

This company is a tree trimming service in GA that is currently utilizing a Professional Employer Organization, however, that Professional Employer Organization can't provide them with group health care coverage. Their broker, who is listed as the contact on this RFP, discussed options, and we decided that he would obtain separate W/C coverage for the client, and we would then ask Professional Employer Organizations to quote with a W/C carve out. A census has been obtained but for some reason my system isn't allowing me to pin the census to this RFP. I will need to email it to you separately. Also, we have a hurricane heading our way so I don't know how much time I'll be able to spend in the office over the next few days. So, use my mobile number to text or talk with me; 941-539-0867
