Company is group of three separate companies that are separating from a fourth parent company. They want to see how a Professional Employer Organization can help with the full suite of services, including payroll, workers comp, and benefits. They curretnly offer a self funded plan that they TPA for themselves. They are also very interested in paperless, or electronic onboarding.


51 Employee Company

Company is a leading manufacturer and distributor of HVAC and refrigeration compressor parts. They have recently renewed their BCBS plan with a 21% increase. Health participation is good with 50 of the 81 eligible EE's on the plan. They also make premium contributions across all dependent levels. The contact handles all the HR now, but has recently been taking on several other operational tasks. So, their main focus is to mitigate against future health increases, and shed most of the HR functions. They are not looking for a Jan 1st transition.


86 Employee Company

This company is an automotive and light truck repair garage with exception to glass-alignment-welding and body work. They have used a Professional Employer Organization in the past and now want to move back to a Professional Employer Organization to simplify their payroll, tax and W/C integration. Loss Runs, current dec and a recent payroll summary have all been requested.

This is a demolition company that has had some claims issues and now is looking for better W/Comp coverage alternatives. Due to the fact that the company is currently splitting W/C codes, the EE counts per W/C classification listed on this RFP are not accurate. And I've since discovered that they payroll breakdown is underestimated by about $340,000 based on their ACORD payroll estimates. I've collected several underwriting docs and I will provide them directly to you via email.


18 Employee Company

Company is a managed services company offering software development, IT infrastructure maintenance, and other related data center services. They are with a Professional Employer Organization now, but have been shown a 35% increase in their United Plan. That plan renews on June 1st, so please act quickly. They pay 100% of the employee only premiums, and have 75% participation.


56 Employee Company

Company is an event staffing company for caterers and some universities. They use a service provider now, but are only listed as an additional insured on that company's workers comp policy. They want to use a Professional Employer Organization to obtain their own workers comp.


100 Employee Company

This is a towing company that has been in business for over 5 years but has always run their EEs as contractors. They have recently been notified that they can no longer do that and are trying to establish W/C coverage. The owner stated that they do not do roadside work. They only do location to location hauls, typically for insurance companies. Once they are able to establish coverage, they expect to add additional EEs.


3 Employee Company

This company is a full service environmental drilling & excavation contractor with vertical and horizontal drill rigs, excavators, bulldozers, etc. They drill monitor wells, water wells, and horizontal environmental wells. They also excavate contaminated soil and backfill with clean soil. They had one EE that made W/C claims each of the last three years, and it has resulted in 1.31 W/C EMR. That employee is no longer with the company. However, the company needs to show a lower EMR before it starts to lose contracts for them. Their safety program includes the following: 1) Daily crew tailgate safety talks with our clients on job sites 2) Weekly crew tailgate safety talks led by our crew leaders with their crew 3) Monthly company-wide tailgate safety talks led by management 4) Quarterly company safety and training days where we shut down all crews and have day long training with in-house and out sourced trainers. 5) 40 hour & 8 hour refresher Hazwoper training for all employees 6) Safeland USA training for most of our employees A good amount of underwriting documentation has been obtained and will be forwarded to you by email.
