Construction Contractors - 463 PEO & Employee Leasing Solutions are available at StaffMarket

For construction contractors, StaffMarket has employee leasing programs that can help your company. Professional Employer Organizations (PEO) have helped thousands of small and mid-sized businesses obtain better employee benefits for their employees and access competitively priced workers compensation insurance.

Like many companies, construction contractors have discovered that as their business grows, the administrative aspects require more and more time. Eventually the company needs to hire additional administrative staff or outsource those tasks to a third party. As the regulatory and legal environment for business gets more complicated many companies have hired a PEO or employee leasing company to handle those non-revenue producing activities that do not enhance the construction contractors bottom line.

We can provide construction contractors with several competitive employee leasing and PEO quotes. We identify the best solutions available and provide multiple options for your business.

4 Employee Construction Contractors in Arkansas

This is actually 3 small companies, 2 doing residential construction and one doing insulation. The construction company subs out most of the work so their actual W2s do whatever the subs don't. Clean up and landscaping mostly. She said the W/C code they use now is 9015. This main construction company is owned by the father and the second construction company and insulation company are owned by the son. All 3 companies are located at the same address and they share employees. The contact on this RFP is the father's wife and she does payroll. From what I can figure out, the son's companies use a Professional Employer Organization model but I think the father's company uses and ASO model but they use the some service provider. The reason the father is running ASO is because they have had issues with the names on the certs. The reason they are now wanting to leave is that they got a state audit for overtime, and because the 3 companies share EEs, they were fined for not paying overtime on the aggregate of time working across all three companies. Their issue with their current Professional Employer Organization is that they told them that how they were handeling OT was legal but then wouldn't stand behind them during the audit.

This company is a small start-up solar energy construction company with a half office and half construction crew on the field that designs and installs solar panels on roofs of low-income/affordable buildings in NYC and Westchester. They are looking into Professional Employer Organization as a way to facilitate time tracking, PTO and benefits administration. I did discuss with them that not many, if any, Professional Employer Organizations would be able to take on their W/C coverage and explained that the chances were high that they would need to keep their current W/C coverage in place. Please discuss this issue with them in more detail.

25 Employee Construction Contractors in New York

We are a Native American Tribally-Owned company primarily operating in the Federal contracting market. We currently work in the construction industry, but will be expanding into IT services soon. We also have a self-performing mechanical division and also sometime self-performs carpentry and finish trades. For the trade worker employees, they have a base rate and different rates on Federal projects dictated by Davis-Bacon Wage Act wage determinations. We also work in multiple states (VA, MD, DC, WI, MN), but plan to work nationally. We have employees spread-out in the states we work and will continue to expand into more states. They currently utilize a Professional Employer Organization, and I will tell you their name in a separate email, but they are having services issues with them. Their primary issues are that they don't like their Professional Employer Organization's Time Sheet, time triacking system, they can't properly track PTO and they don't like their Payroll User Interface. The census is password protected so please request the password from me.
