Due to them being covered on the parent's W/C policy, I'm not sure how your UW will need to see claims history. I have had the company complete a claims history affidavit and I've attached it to this RFP. They think they will eventually be interested in providing health care coverage, but not at this point. This is an electrical contractor that up until 2 months ago utilized ADP TotalSource, but decided to leave due to high rates. They are now on an ADP payroll platform. However, he is working with an adviser in trying to set up a ROBS Rollover to help finance the company and the adviser is suggesting he utilize a Professional Employer Organization so that he wouldn't have to include his EEs in the 401k. He also said the his payroll is about $100,000 lower than what is shown on this RFP

This company is actually 2 companies with the primary company being a private commercial finance company that is currently utilizing a Professional Employer Organization that is providing them with group United/Oxford coverage but the Professional Employer Organization is now switching to Aetna and the company wants to find a Professional Employer Organization that can continue to provide them with United/Oxford coverage. A combined census is attached along with plan summaries and a recent Professional Employer Organization invoice. Besides group medical the pay for vision, dental, life and a 401k. The don't utilize their Professional Employer Organization to administer the 401k for the large group but they do for the smaller company. They would need to be active with the new Professional Employer Organization Sep 30th.

Company is General construction company working on commercial remodels and new residential building. They have had some workers comp issues, so they want to see how a Professional Employer Organization can help reduce their premiums. The workers comp policy renews on Aug 1st. While going through the RFP process, they also want to look at benefits. Those benefits renew on Dec 1st. The payroll is currently done by their CPA. The same CPA who is acting as your contact.

They have recently downsized and the contact, a finance EE, is now responsible for all HR. They are looking into Professional Employer Organizations as a way to offload all HR related admin and possibly save on benefits procurement. The underwriting documents I have obtained so far are large files so I will forward those to you under a separate email.

She had used a Professional Employer Organization for her business and really appreciated the service. However, that Professional Employer Organization shut down abruptly and left her is a difficult situation. She has been trying to talk the owner of this franchise into considering a Professional Employer Organization and he has now decided to gather some quotes. Their primary motivation is in lowering their W/C costs and being able to give their EEs to access to some benefit products, including an IRA. Their current MOD is.80 and their current carrier provides them with online safety training and the franchise requires caregivers to take safety training before their first visit. The owner is also involved in what the contact called an "Idea Exchange" with other business people in the area. Their next gathering is in late Feb and he would like to present the benefits of utilizing a Professional Employer Organization at that next meeting. They are looking for a Professional Employer Organization with a bit more technology that allows a more automated way to submit payroll and integrate with their accounting systems. The owner is listed as the contact on this RFP but if you call for additional detail, you may want to ask for Debra or Melissa. LRs are attached. UPDATE: Debra Kraemer is the Finance and Administrative Manager and she will be involved in the process to select their new Professional Employer Organization. This contact person actually worked at a local Professional Employer Organization so she understands the concept thoroughly. All the programmers are 1099 at this point and they want to convert all to W2. Most of the EEs are on a semi-monthly cycle but one is monthly. They are not interested in group medical at this time but are interested in other ancillary benefits, especially 401k with profit sharing. They want to try to maximize their contributions. They would like to start with a Professional Employer Organization May 1st. The contact gets into the office at 6:00AM and usually leaves around 3:00PM. They have already contacted TriNet directly but was told all eligible EEs must enroll in medical.

This company is owned by a UK based company called Next Controls, Ltd, but the client is a US based LLC, that remotely monitors refrigeration systems in grocery stores, restaurants, health care facilities, etc. They have 7 EEs that all work out of their homes in FL, WI, AZ and CO. The company's US agent is a CPA based in Bradenton and she is acting as the contact on this RFP. She currently handles all payroll and HR issues and needs to get it off her plate. They currently reimburse EEs for med coverage premiums but now wants to convert to a group medical program. They want to start and be able to run by the end of Feb. Their actual 2013 total gross payroll was around $474,000 and they estimate 2014 to be around $517,000
