Overall, Oasis is outstanding. Our sales rep does everything he can, every time, to make things right. The other departments have had personnel changes over the past year, so we are still going through a bit of a learning curve. I am anticipating that when they are all up to speed, we will have a better overall experience.
They have met our needs very well.
Oasis has done everything we hoped and expected. We are pleased.
We have had some delays in getting the Handbook into DRAFT form, and getting the Health Insurance program organized has been difficult due to the take ratio on our small group. However, throughout all our efforts, Brittany Spaziano has been very responsive and effective in her follow up. Having the ongoing relationship with the account exec who sold the service has been a real benefit to using Oasis.
WE HAD A FEW GLITCHES AT THE BEGINNING BUT THINGS ARE SMOOTHING OUT.
OASIS IS A GREAT PARTNER AND A VALUABLE ASSET TO ME IN MY BUSINESS.
THIS IS THE BEST INTREGRATION I HAVE EVER EXPERIENCED WITH ANY OUTSIDE VENDOR OF ANY SERVICE EVER!!! THIS IS A FIRST CLASS OUTFIT!
THEY HAVE CHANGED ACCOUNT MANAGERS A FEW TIMES, BUT IT HAS NOT BEEN A MAJOR ISSUE.
STILL TOO NEW TO RATE AND IN A LEARNING TRANSITION PROCESS. WE HAVE HAD NO WORKERS COMP CASES YET AND ARE UNABLE TO RATE. OUR ASSIGNED ACCOUNT MANAGER IS GREAT.
WE ARE JUST GETTING STARTED. FIRST PAYROLL WILL NOT BE UNTIL FIRST WEEK IN JUNE. THEY HAVE HANDLED THE TRASITION PRETTY WELL SO FAR.
CAROLINE BONDS HAS BEEN TERRIFIC. SHE AND HER STAFF ARE EXCELLENT. WE STILL HAVE HAD NO PAYROLL EXPERIENCE YET.
EVERYONE ASSOCIATED WITH OASIS HAS BEEN VERY HELPFUL AND DONE ALL THEY CAN TO MAKE THIS TRANSITION GO AS SMOOTHLY AS POSSIBLE. I AM VERY PLEASED SO FAR.
OASIS CANNOT SEEM TO GET OUR EMPLOYEE VACATION/SICK TIME ACCRUALS CORRECT...THERE IS AN ISSUE EVERY PAY PERIOD WITH SOMEONES ACCRUAL AMOUNT.
THEY MEDICAL BENEFITS ARE HORRIBLE FOR A LARGER BUSINESS BUT THEN AGAIN WE CANT SEEM TO DO ANY BETTER IN OUR AREA. I GUESS WERE JUST STUCK UNTIL THE NETWORKS GROW.
WE WERE SCREWED IN MANY WAYS. THE FIRST YR PAYROLL WAS WRONG VERY OFTEN. THEY MESSED UP AND WE WERE DROPPED FROM WORK COMP. MAJOR SCREWING ON 401K THAT COST US $10K. WE ARE NO LONGER WITH THEM.

Factors Affecting PEO Client Retention Rates
PEO client goes out of businessThe recession of 2006 through 2012 has forced many small and medium sized companies to close their doors. These recession casualties have caused the PEO retention rates to be reduced. New start-up companies often hire a PEO since they get turn key insurance HR administrative services. In general, start up companies have a high failure rate. According to this research only 43% of businesses started in 2005 were still in existence five years later. Since new businesses often hire a PEO, it can be inferred that any PEO with a five year retention rate over 43% is adding value and expertise that helps start up companies survive and prosper. Review the BLS failure rate for business startups. Some PEOs have specialized in construction and other high risk (for workers’ compensation insurance) industries. These PEOs have seen high client attrition due to the fact that their target client market has shrunk. In addition, geography also plays a role. Most PEOs cover only limited states and some states have been affected by the recession much more than others. For example, PEOs that specialize in construction in Florida have seen a high customer loss rate during the recession.
Client drops the PEOIn some cases the PEO client may become dissatisfied with the PEO service level or to changes in the PEO benefits plans. Although rare, some PEO have moved from group health insurance plans to individually underwritten plans and this has affected the health insurance costs for the client. I those cases the client may leave the PEO to engage a different PEO or go to a standard market health insurance plan.
PEO drops the clientIn other situations the PEO may drop the client if the client refuses to implement safety programs that keep work comp costs in check or fails to implement the recommended HR processes. PEOs work to keep insurance and employment risk costs in check and may terminate clients who do not assist with those objectives.
