His priorities for a Professional Employer Organization is the ability to provide very robust benefits and has put particular emphasis on the Professional Employer Organization's portal. The company is starting an apartment management operation to manage one of their own properties but will continue to expand into managing properties not owned by them. The first contract begins at the end of Oct so they do need to move quickly. They expect their additional contracts will be in MA and CT and will average 5 to 10 EEs each. They are looking into Professional Employer Organization as a way to administer their newly acquired EEs and provide them with benefits including group medical. A census has been requested but it will only include the 2 existing executive EEs at this point. There is no current or prior W/C coverage due to now EEs, so no W/C documentation has been collected.


8 Employee Company

This company assembles and sells x-ray equipment. Most EEs are located in CT but they have 1 EE in each CA, TX, LA and OH. They currently utilize a Professional Employer Organization but are not happy with the level of service they are receiving. A census is currently attached to this RFP but I'm still waiting to receive LRs, current plan summary, renewal notice and recent payroll summary report.


22 Employee Company

This company is a startup manufacturer of baking mixes. The contact is interested in Professional Employer Organization as a better resource for W/C and payroll management. He is also interested in Professional Employer Organization as a possible deterrent to unionization. He is also wanting a Professional Employer Organization that can help him with staffing and helping him become a 14c employer. They would like to start payroll in 60 days. Benefits are not a need at this time.

This company is a moving and storage company based in Milford, CT. Loss runs have been requested.

This company does site work including excavation, grading, septic, side walk installations I removal. The also do some demo of derelict buildings with excavator and interior building guts. Now the agent writing the policy wants to get Professional Employer Organization quotes for his client. They are interested in payroll administration, and workers comp only. Company is a geotechnical engineering firm. The broker that is representing this account has learned that they are getting quoted by Paychex, and wants be able to offer a competitive option.
