This client wants 3 things: 1. Large group healthcare policy under NY state laws 2. Activation for June 1st of health and payroll (if possible) 3. Ability to start with 1-2 team members and grow to 50 by end of year

This account is a technology consulting company that has been in business for many years. They primarily are interested in HR support and maybe also some recruiting assistance. Contact is the CEO.


5 Employee Company

This company provides in-home child care throughout Florida. The contact on this account is a P&C agent who has assisted them previously with obtaining WC coverage. They are primarily interested in payroll and workers comp insurance. According to the agent they have not had any claims.


60 Employee Company

This company runs home companion services and has 2 separate entities. For her employees she is seeking a Professional Employer Organization model and for the other entity she is interested in an ASO service model. She wants a more modernized method of collecting and reporting work time and other HR support technology.

This is a new startup that acts as a broker for residential house cleaning.


11 Employee Company

This company is a small start-up solar energy construction company with a half office and half construction crew on the field that designs and installs solar panels on roofs of low-income/affordable buildings in NYC and Westchester. They are looking into Professional Employer Organization as a way to facilitate time tracking, PTO and benefits administration. I did discuss with them that not many, if any, Professional Employer Organizations would be able to take on their W/C coverage and explained that the chances were high that they would need to keep their current W/C coverage in place. Company is a start up company providing trained staff to the utility scale solar power plant industry. They work on solar arrays close to the ground.

Company is a debt collection agency for cash advance stores. They are growing, and want to see how a Professional Employer Organization can help with employee administration, and a competitive benefits package. A benefits census and loss runs are attached.

Company hosts an online concert streaming service. They are growing, and are interested in payroll, and benefits. No benefits are currently offered, and two independent contractors will become W-2 employees. They expect to grow to 5-10 employees by the end of next year.

Company is a marketing and technology solutions provider. They are with a Professional Employer Organization now, but are not happy. Specifically with payroll administration, 401k, overall service and knowledge of HR related issues. This company is a private equity firm that is buying the assets of a staffing company that provides employees that provide various aspects of maintenance to commercial aircraft. They are interested in outsourcing all back office functions.

Company is a GC engaged in demolition and environmental services. They want to get out of the state fund. Loss runs are attached.

Company is a psychology practice. They are going to move 1099's over to W-2 employees and also add 4-6 more employees by July. They are mainly interested in offering benefits. A census has been requested.

Company has expertise in stressed and transitional commercial borrowers. They are looking for basic payroll and benefits, with a specific interest in an Empire BCBS plan.

This company is an employer of record company that employs highly skilled life science workers for consulting firms. Their issue is securing W/C coverage. They would rather just handle payroll themselves but I explained that was not an option. They are only looking for a solution for this subset of EEs, so they may need to form a separate business entity just for this group. They estimate starting with the 30 EEs listed on this RFP but expect growth to around 55 EEs in 12 months and 80 EEs in 18 months. And they will be placing EEs in CA, NY, NJ and MA. They do need to move quickly so please indicate your ability to write such an account as soon as you are able. Please do not contact the company prior to discussing with me first.
